Urbn Leaf / Grover Beach

Urbn Leaf at Grover Beach is the fourth retail location for the cannabis company in California. This was an adaptive reuse project that repurposed a 4,800 sf building that used to house a buggy mechanic shop. The program layout was divided into two wings of comprising the back of house and offices while the taller more prominent wing the retail. The L- shaped building is flanked by a large wood trellis creating a u-shaped plan. At the heart of the building is an open courtyard with native plants and a unique paving pattern.

Urbn Leaf, Grover Beach opened in 2020.
